hi

yesterday, i've uploaded kernel-2.6.20 to -current, as you probably
noticed. we have the following tasks to complete in connection with the
update:

1) fix external modules:

madwifi - patched, works
ndiswrapper - version bump, supports the new version
acx100 - a simple rebuild was enough
acerhk - same
gspcav1 - same
wlan-ng - patched, works
rt2500 - same
qc-usb - a simple rebuild was enough
fglrx - patched by voroskoi, works
rlocate - a simple rebuild was enough
cdemu - same
adm8211 - patched, works
dazuko - same
ipw3945 - a simple rebuild was enough
nvidia - same
nvidia-96xx - same
ivtv - patched by crazy, works
truecrypt - patched, works
virtualbox - alex is working on this
lirc - patched by voroskoi, works

in short: except virtualbox every external module seems to be okay

2) new userspace programs: kvm

i don't have such a hardware, could someone who has the necessary
hardware (Alex? :) ) package the necessary userspace tools for kvm?

thanks,
VMiklos
