[Frugalware-devel] Collaborative editing for FrugalBuild development?

With some new packagers getting started I had an idea when I recently
visited the web of Gobby - the collaborative text editor. Instead of
passing email messages back and forth when reviewing and correcting a
new packager's FrugalBuild file, perhaps collaborative session could
be a better method?

As I see it working, the learner and the teacher(s) would arrange in
advance a Gobby session and in that session correct a FrugalBuild.
With the chat facility etc it would be a much quicker process overall
and feedback could be provided immediately.

I like the Ubuntu project's occasional IRC sessions in which they
discuss various topics, some of which are intended to be educational.
With such sessions though it's difficult to know how many people will
attend so so whether or not it's worth running them.

Just (another) thought... Of course I know nothing about packaging
(yet) so it wouldn't be my time being taken up by these sessions. :)

May you always be Frugal,

Russell Dickenson (AKA phayz)
