Well it should detect if the demon is running and ask you what you want to do.

Not possible that way with fun it isn't a native kde applet it doesn't know anything about
kde internals. With kde applets you can tell 'stfu I do not want you to start next time' , click
a check box and that is :P

For that a kfun is needed but doing it for kde3 is a waste of time , probably some plasmoid for
kde4 will be an idea but heh back to what we have now.

Also I think we can do that with the autostart feature all 3 major desktops supports just some kind
global config file with defaults is needed and some kind ~/.fun/config for the user options then.
