I decided to write down the rules which I think should apply to the
development of artwork for 0.9 - Solaria. There are some points which
I've seen discussed on IRC and some points which are purely my own.

* All rights to the submitted artwork will transfer to the Frugalware project
* Artwork must be submitted in SVG format as this allows for
derivative works to be made without affecting the impact of the
original artwork. Examples of derivative works include wallpapers in
various sizes and height/width ratios
* Only the official Frugalware logo in one of the officially approved
formats will be accepted. Refer to <insert url here> for the official
Frugalware logos
* The development team will decide which piece of artwork becomes the
default for 0.9
* While the artwork for 0.9 is to be unique, it should not feature the
codename ("Solaria"), nor the version number ("0.9")

That's all I can think of at the moment. If I think of anything
further, I'll send another email message.

May you always be Frugal,

Russell Dickenson
