[Frugalware-devel] Enabling arduino for Frugalware

Hi,

i recently started to work with arduinos (it's a name for a very popular
IDE + libs + hw design), and i found that it is not usable on FW, yet.

What is needed in order to run on frugalware? It is briefly outlined here:
http://www.arduino.cc/playground/Learning/Linux

[1] optional: a programmer tool. avrdude is in the distro and functional,
i checked it and works great.

[2] compilers for avr target: gcc / g++ As far as i know, upon building
only the avr target have to be enabled.

[3] binutils for avr: As far as i know, upon building only the avr target
have to be enabled.

[4] libc for avr's :
http://www.nongnu.org/avr-libc/

[5] the IDE itself: i tested it and it probably works with some
adjustments (complains about serial port)

The reason i am writing this to the dev list to ask for help, because my
knowledge is insufficient to make the required packages properly (even i am
not sure how much would it take to produce anything barely usable). I can
do testing and debugging, and i have some arduinos around available.

If anyone interested, please reply.
