[Frugalware-devel] Frugalware needs some QA (quality assurance)

The problem with the initrd change is partly my fault. I was the one who introduced it.
It was somewhat poorly executed I suppose, however I didn't see how else to implement
it, seeing as we had never used one before. Hopefully 1.7 will have better QA, but let's
face it, our resources are extremely limited. There's not enough help to test all the packages
we have, especially in -extra. If you want to propose QA, where would you want what we
do have exercised? -extra is way too massive to maintain very well (4278 packages, not
counting subs). We've got a lot of old cruft people have left behind when they left.
Some of the problems with booting should be a non-issue next release, since we are
transitioning to grub2, which automates pretty much all config for the boot process.
