what is the feature which is not in the 0.8 isos but would be in
such a random snapshot iso?

well does stable allow you to change to the current Repositories during install 

it a pain to install stable then have to edit text files to upgrade to current

beside it means more bandwith get wasted also because the stable version of applications need to be updated to newer versions
