[Frugalware-forums] usb stick!

hola!
today i've partitioned my usb stick with 2 partitions;
sdX1 1,2G fat16 + sdX 0,8G ext3
no prob with fat but ext3 is read only.
my user is in storage and disk group...
tried to change 50-udev.rules in the scsi devices section setting all modes to 660.
now konqueror tells me this is writable but if i try to create a dir i get an access error.

questions:
1- where i have to look?
2- can be an hardware problem? (the stick manual says it can be partitioned like a standard disk)
3- if hal talks of (and i'm on) the storage and disk group why the stick is mounted as root only?
4- do you know of a comfortable gui to setup hal? (i've little time to spend on configurations...:)

here the log from
