I didn't want to create a new topic with the same title, so I'm posting here.

Dear Frugalware users, I'd like to ask you a simple question.

If I had only base packages installed, and I wanted to install a terminal emulator (say, mrxvt), would the X server be installed also?

The background for this question: recently I have installed Arch Linux. I did "pacman -S mrxvt", and the terminal emulator was installed. The problem was I had no X server, so I was unable to run the terminal emulator. (I think that the X server should've been installed as well. It wasn't because of the package dependencies.)

Now, I'd like to know how such dependencies are resolved in Frugalware.

In another words: I'm fed up with fighting dependencies (instead of just using my system), and I'm looking for another distro.
