[Frugalware-announce] Frugalware 1.6rc2 (Fermus) released

The Frugalware Developer Team is pleased to [1] announce the immediate availability of Frugalware 1.6rc2, the second technical preview of
the upcoming 1.6 stable release.Here are some of the major improvements, fixes and updates since 1.6rc1:

  * Package updates:
	   + Linux kernel 3.1.10
	   + LibreOffice 3.4.5
	   + ~100 updated packages
	   + 27 new packages

  * New features:
	   + New cpupower ( [2] LWN article ) and [3] perf packages
	   + kmod replaced module-init-tools

  * Fixes:
	   + The installer now handles network timeout errors
	   + Documentation updates
