Frugalware 1.1rc1 (Getorin) released

The Frugalware Developer Team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Frugalware 1.1rc1, the first release of the upcoming 1.1 stable release.

A short and incomplete list of changes since 1.1pre2:

  • Improvements:
    • Etoile is now part of the repository, see this post for more details.
    • Major update on the graphical installer (fwife), see the changelog here and there.
  • Package updates:
    • Linux kernel 2.6.30.3
    • GnuTLS 2.8
    • More than 400 package updates
    • More than 100 new packages
